Green tea with jasmine – “Jasmine Pearls”

Green tea with jasmine is one of the most popular flavored Chinese teas. Jasmine tea is usually made on the basis of green tea, but sometimes white tea and even black tea are also used for the base. Jasmine flowers or jasmine oil are added to the base of the tea. Jasmine tea has a pleasant sweet taste and a delicate floral smell.

How to boil jasmine tea?

Jasmine tea is made in the same way as other green teas. It is necessary to use:

– a teapot with thick walls of clay to give jasmine petals to reveal their aroma;
– clean filtered, sourced or simply stagnant water. The temperature of the water should be about 78-90 ° C. It is important to remember that green teas do not love boiling water and open their aroma only at a certain temperature;
– a clean towel (the one with which you need to cover the boiled tea).
Before preparing, you need to prepare a decoctioner and boil with water so that it keeps warm for longer. Put the tea mixture with jasmine flowers and pour half the water. Cover with a towel and wait 2-3 minutes, then you need to pour the other half of the water and let it stand for 2 minutes. Cover with a towel should be both the lid and the jugpiece!

Jasmine tea, or rather jasmine flowers, prepare a little longer than regular green tea, so jasmine tea can be used after 4 minutes of pulling.
